Family and friends of Irving Primary School, My name is Michael Barber, and I am the principal of Irving Primary School. I have been part of District 150 for 17 years. I began teaching in the district at Glen Oak Primary School where I spent the first 10 years of my career. I taught third and fourth grade there. I then spent one year as a 4th grade teacher at Whittier Primary School. I spent three years as the assistant principal at Roosevelt Magnet School. This is my 3rd year as principal at Irving Primary School. I look forward to working with your family throughout the coming school year. I am here to assist you in anyway I can. Please feel free to either call or stop in if you have a concern or an idea. My door is always open, and I want you to feel welcome at Irving.
